Rookie Sensation Caitlin Clark Makes History
In a phenomenal debut season, Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark has become the first rookie since 2008 to secure a spot on the All-WNBA first team, a feat previously achieved by the legendary Candace Parker.
Unanimous Choices Shine Bright
Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces received unanimous votes, solidifying their positions as two of the league’s top performers. Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) and Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun) rounded out the first-team selections.
Clark’s Impressive Stats
The league’s Rookie of the Year earned 52 first-team votes and appeared on 66 of the 67 ballots submitted by a national media panel. Clark’s impressive stats include averaging 19.2 points, a WNBA-best 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 35.4 minutes per game. She also led the league with 122 3-pointers, helping the Fever secure a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.
