Midseason Mock Draft: Predicting the First Round of the 2025 NFL Draft
With six weeks of college football and the NFL season underway, it’s time to project the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. This mock draft is based on current team standings and player performances.
1. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Browns may need to reset at quarterback, and Sanders is the top QB prospect with exceptional ball placement and decision-making skills.
2. New England Patriots: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
Hunter’s versatility and athleticism make him a top prospect, and the Patriots could use him on either side of the ball.
3. Carolina Panthers: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
The Panthers need impact players, and Carter’s steady improvement at edge rusher makes him a great fit.
4. Las Vegas Raiders (via trade with Jacksonville): Cam Ward, QB, Miami
The Raiders may jump up to grab Ward, a dynamic playmaker with a strong arm and pocket presence.
5. Tennessee Titans: James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
The Titans need pass rush help, and Pearce’s scheme versatility and production make him a great fit.
6. Los Angeles Rams: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Rams’ secondary struggles continue, and Johnson’s size, physicality, and ball skills make him a top cornerback prospect.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (via trade with Las Vegas): Will Campbell, OT/G, LSU

The Cardinals need pass rush help, and Williams’ length, burst, and closing speed make him a top prospect.
14. Indianapolis Colts (via trade with Seattle): Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Colts need secondary help, and Starks’ instincts, range, and tackling ability make him a top safety prospect.
15. Dallas Cowboys: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
