Caitlin Clark’s Winning Streak Continues Off the Court
WNBA star Caitlin Clark has been making headlines with her impressive golf skills, and her latest outing was no exception. The Indiana Fever point guard recently took to the green for a par-3 contest against teammate Lexie Hull, showcasing her competitive spirit and precision swing.
From the Court to the Course
Clark’s passion for golf is no secret. After being eliminated from the playoffs last month, she expressed her intention to play golf in Indiana until the weather turned cold. And it seems she’s been making the most of her time on the course. In September, she and Hull sat together at an Indianapolis Colts home game, and just last week, they tried out sodas from Swig and received golden mugs from the store owner.
A Near-Miss and a Victory
During their par-3 contest, Clark came inches away from achieving a hole-in-one, settling for a birdie on her next stroke instead. Hull missed on her second stroke, handing Clark the win. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year celebrated by laughing in Hull’s face, a lighthearted moment that showcased the camaraderie between the two teammates.
TikTok Return and Upcoming Tournament
The post on TikTok marked Clark’s first since April 2, when she celebrated the Iowa Hawkeyes’ advancement to the Final Four. Next month, Clark will appear in The Annika pro-am, the penultimate tournament of the LPGA Tour hosted by Swedish golfer Annika Sorenstam. With her impressive rookie year stats – averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds – Clark is sure to bring her A-game to the course.
A Bright Future Ahead
As the WNBA season comes to a close, Clark’s future looks brighter than ever. With her remarkable golf skills, infectious enthusiasm, and dedication to her craft, she’s sure to continue making waves both on and off the court.
