**Inzaghi Spills the Beans in Hooligan Investigation**

Italian Law Enforcement Investigates Football Club’s Ties to Organized Crime

On Wednesday, Italian police questioned Inter Milan’s manager, Simone Inzaghi, as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into the alleged links between the club’s hardcore fan base and organized crime syndicates. According to sources familiar with the matter, Inzaghi was interviewed as a witness and is not currently under investigation.

The probe follows the recent arrest of 19 high-ranking “ultra” football fans affiliated with both Inter Milan and AC Milan, many of whom are suspected of having connections to the notorious ‘Ndrangheta mafia organization, which originated in the Calabria region.

A 568-page arrest warrant revealed that Marco Ferdico, a senior Inter ultra, contacted Inzaghi prior to the 2023 Champions League final, requesting that he persuade club directors to allocate more tickets to the fan group. Prosecutors have identified both Inter Milan and AC Milan as injured parties in the case, emphasizing the need for the clubs to reassess their relationships with their fan bases and implement structural changes to prevent future criminal infiltration.

While Inter Milan declined to comment on the matter, club chairman Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the team is cooperating fully with the authorities.
