**F**king Finally! Bohm Back in Philly’s Lineup for Game 3

In a crucial move to revitalize their offense, the Philadelphia Phillies are reinstating All-Star third baseman Alec Bohm to the starting lineup for Game 3 of the NL Division Series against the New York Mets at Citi Field. Bohm’s benching in Game 2 sparked controversy, as Edmundo Sosa took his place, going 0-for-2 with a strikeout. Despite a late-game rally, Bohm’s pinch-hit appearance in the seventh inning resulted in a pop out, leaving him 0-for-2 on the day.

Manager Rob Thomson expressed confidence in Bohm’s return, citing his dedication to extra practice in the batting cages. “He’s in a good spot,” Thomson assured. With Bohm’s recent struggles, including a 2-for-28 slump to close out the regular season, the Phillies are banking on his past success at Citi Field, where he went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and four RBIs on September 20.

Aaron Nola is set to take the mound for Philadelphia on Tuesday, with Ranger Suárez scheduled to start Game 4 on Wednesday. The Mets, meanwhile, will counter with veteran left-hander Jose Quintana on Wednesday, regardless of the outcome of Game 3. Kodai Senga, who made a strong comeback in the series opener, remains an option for a potential Game 5. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza reported that Senga is “progressing well” and “feeling good” after overcoming shoulder, calf, and triceps injuries that limited his regular-season appearances.
