Arsenal Star Sidelined for International Matches Due to Knee Injury
Kai Havertz, the German forward who plies his trade with Premier League outfit Arsenal, has been ruled out of Germany’s upcoming Nations League clashes against Bosnia and the Netherlands. The news was confirmed by the German national team on Sunday, citing a knee problem as the reason for his withdrawal.
Despite featuring for the entire 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 3-1 triumph over Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday, Havertz will not be joining his national teammates for the international break. In his place, coach Julian Nagelsmann has called up Jonathan Burkardt to bolster the squad.
Germany will face Bosnia on Friday, followed by a home encounter against the Netherlands on October 14. Fans will be wishing Havertz a speedy recovery, hoping to see him back in action soon.
