**Jabrill Peppers in Deep Sh*t: Faces Felony Strangulation and Drug Charges**

**Patriots Safety Jabrill Peppers Faces Multiple Charges Following Weekend Arrest**

In a stunning turn of events, New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was taken into custody on Saturday, facing a slew of serious charges including strangulation, drug possession, and assault. The 29-year-old team captain, who was celebrating his birthday just a day prior, did not participate in Sunday’s 15-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins due to a shoulder injury.

According to authorities in Braintree, Massachusetts, police responded to a residential disturbance call early Saturday morning, where an altercation between two individuals was reported. Peppers, who was limited in practice last week, will be arraigned on Monday in Quincy District Court.

The alleged victim received medical attention at the scene, and Peppers is expected to face charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and possession of a Class B substance believed to be cocaine.

When questioned about the incident, Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo expressed caution, stating, “We’ve informed the NFL, and we’re still gathering information. I don’t think anyone knows the facts or anything like that. It’s a process.”

The Patriots organization released a brief statement, acknowledging awareness of the incident and ongoing police investigation, but declined further comment. As the situation unfolds, Peppers’ future with the team remains uncertain.
