**Raiders Face Injury Woes Ahead of Broncos Matchup**
The Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up for their Week 5 showdown against the Denver Broncos, but they’ll be doing so without several key players. A total of seven Raiders have been ruled out for Sunday’s game, including star receiver Davante Adams and running back Zamir White.
Adams, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, is currently away from the team as he awaits a potential trade. He’s been dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined. White, meanwhile, suffered a groin injury during Wednesday’s practice and has not participated in team activities since.
On a more positive note, defensive end Maxx Crosby is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Crosby, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, practiced for the first time in nearly two weeks on Friday, albeit in a limited capacity. He’s been nursing a left high ankle sprain that forced him to sit out last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns.
Raiders coach Antonio Pierce acknowledged the team’s injury struggles, saying, “It’s Week 5 in the NFL. Everybody’s battling, and we’ll see come Sunday who’s ready to go.”
In addition to Adams and White, the Raiders will also be without starting right tackle Thayer Munford Jr., linebacker Luke Masterson, tight end Michael Mayer, safety Trey Taylor, and cornerback Decamerion Richardson. Rookie Tommy Eichenberg is set to start at linebacker in place of Masterson, while Divine Deablo is listed as questionable with an oblique injury.
Starting right guard Dylan Parham is also questionable to play after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. Despite the injuries, the Raiders are looking forward to Sunday’s matchup against the Broncos. As Pierce noted, “We’ll see come Sunday who’s ready to go.”
