**Carr Wants to Get the Fucking Band Back Together with Adams**

In the heart of Louisiana, a familiar face has sparked excitement among football enthusiasts. Quarterback Derek Carr, now leading the New Orleans Saints, has expressed his enthusiasm for reuniting with his former teammate, wide receiver Davante Adams. Adams, currently under contract with the Las Vegas Raiders until 2026, has reportedly requested a trade.

Sources close to the situation have revealed that Adams is keen on playing with a quarterback he knows, including Carr and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Raiders have indicated they would consider trading Adams for a package deal that includes a second-round draft pick and additional compensation.

When asked about the possibility of playing with Adams again, Carr couldn’t hide his enthusiasm. “I think every quarterback would love to play with Davante. We would welcome that,” he said. “I don’t know if I can get in trouble for saying that, but I think everyone would love to play with him again if that ever worked out in our careers.”

Carr and Adams share a strong bond, having played together in college at Fresno State and later with the Raiders in 2022. Despite only playing one season together, Carr considers Adams one of his closest friends. Their families still vacation together, and Carr fondly remembers their time on the field together.

“He had an incredible season with 1,500 yards and 12 touchdowns,” Carr recalled. “We didn’t win as many games as we thought, but it wasn’t all bad. We had a lot of fun doing it.”

Carr emphasized that their on-field chemistry was undeniable, despite the team’s overall performance. “I think it was like the second-best year of his career [with me]. The narrative that it didn’t work out is correct because we didn’t win as many games. But when it comes to getting him the ball and him scoring a lot of touchdowns, I think it went pretty well.”

Although Carr and Adams have spoken recently, they haven’t discussed any trade rumors. “Business stuff, we don’t even talk about it. That stuff is so beyond our control sometimes, and I’m so focused here,” Carr explained.

Saints coach Dennis Allen expressed satisfaction with the team’s current receiving corps, which includes Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. “I think we’ve got some good young players that I feel really good about, and I think they’re taking a step up,” Allen said. “If there’s ever an opportunity that we feel like makes sense to help our team, we’re going to try to help our team. But I like our receiver room.”
