**Rodgers to Bring Fucking Chaos with His Cadence**

New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh is still learning the intricacies of working with star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but one thing is clear: don’t tamper with Rodgers’ signature cadence. After a disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos, Saleh and his coaching staff reviewed ways to reduce the alarming number of pre-snap penalties, but altering Rodgers’ unique cadence is off the table.

Saleh initially hinted that Rodgers’ cadence might be an issue, but he quickly backtracked, distinguishing between “cadence” and “operation.” The coach emphasized that the team will continue to push the envelope with Rodgers’ cadence, which has been a hallmark of his game and has led to numerous “free plays” throughout his career.

The Jets’ offense struggled against the Broncos, committing five false starts, including three by the offensive line and two by running back Breece Hall. The team was called for 15 penalties overall, with seven pre-snap penalties. Rodgers downplayed the issue, calling the five false starts an “outlier” and suggesting that accountability rather than changes to his cadence might be the solution.

Penalties have been a persistent problem for the Jets under Saleh’s tenure, with the team committing the fourth-highest number of penalties since 2021. Saleh acknowledged that it’s up to the coaching staff to simplify assignments and clear players’ minds to eliminate pre-snap penalties.

Pass protection was another concern, as the Broncos registered 14 quarterback hits and five sacks. Rodgers, still recovering from Achilles surgery, was limping late in the game but is not expected to be listed on the injury report this week. Saleh attributed the quarterback’s wear and tear to standard game-day hits.

As the Jets prepare to face the blitz-heavy Minnesota Vikings in London, Saleh will need to find a way to balance Rodgers’ aggressive cadence with the team’s overall discipline. The Vikings, who lead the league with 17 sacks, will provide a stiff test for the Jets’ offense.
