**Lamb Eats Crow After Pathetic Showing**

In the midst of a short week, the Dallas Cowboys are reeling from back-to-back defeats, and star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is shouldering the blame. Lamb’s subpar performance in Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, which included a fumble and a dropped pass, was compounded by a visible sideline dispute with quarterback Dak Prescott.

On Tuesday, Lamb took responsibility for his mistakes, acknowledging that he let the game get to his head and didn’t live up to his own expectations. “I failed myself, and I failed the team,” he said. “I know what I can do, and I know what I bring to the table… Going forward, there shall be a difference.”

Lamb refused to attribute his struggles to missing training camp due to a contract holdout, saying, “Ain’t no excuse for that. I played football my whole life. I know better.” He also downplayed any perceived tension with Prescott, insisting that their relationship remains strong. “Our relationship, if anything, [has] gotten stronger… We’re brothers to the end.”

Looking ahead to Thursday’s matchup against the New York Giants, Lamb is determined to bounce back, drawing inspiration from a similar slump last season against the San Francisco 49ers. After that game, he went on to set team records in the final 11 games, and he’s confident he can do it again.

Defensively, the Cowboys are focused on stopping the Giants’ running game, which has been a major weakness in recent weeks. All-Pro edge player Micah Parsons emphasized the need for the defense to take pride in their performance and stand up to opponents. “When are you going to stand up?” he asked. “I feel like as a competitor, at some point you got to be prideful enough to say, ‘Hey, like I’m not going to allow this to happen to me.’”

At 1-2, the Cowboys are facing a critical juncture in their season. Parsons believes that failing now can ultimately lead to growth and a stronger team environment. “You got to get back up, and I think that’s going to create a great locker room environment, great team environment… We only go up from here, right? So, when I said we’re low, what do you go from when you’re at the bottom? You climb, but you got to be willing to climb.”
