BEREA, Ohio – In a blow to the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line, right guard Wyatt Teller is expected to be sidelined for several weeks after suffering a knee injury during the team’s 21-15 loss to the New York Giants. The injury occurred in the third quarter, forcing a significant reshuffling of the unit.
Teller’s absence is just one of several concerns for the Browns, who also saw left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. and tackle James Hudson III exit the game with knee and shoulder injuries, respectively. Rookie tackle Dawand Jones was benched at halftime due to a knee issue but later returned to the game after Hudson’s injury.
As of Monday, the team had not provided updates on the status of Wills, Hudson, or Jones. However, defensive end Myles Garrett, who aggravated a foot injury during the game, underwent an MRI and is currently listed as day-to-day.
Despite the injury, Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, expressed his commitment to playing through the pain, citing its impact on his lower leg. Coach Kevin Stefanski praised Garrett’s toughness, saying, “He’s like many of our players – he’ll battle through these injuries and continue to improve.”
