**FUCKING TUESDAY BASEBALL TIPS: SCHWELLENBACH GETS THE NOD**

Get ready for a thrilling week of baseball as the regular season comes to a close! With only seven days left, teams are fighting for playoff spots, and every game counts. To help you make informed fantasy baseball decisions, we’ve got you covered with our daily rankings, hitter upgrades and downgrades, and MLB betting tips.

The Atlanta Braves, despite being plagued by injuries, remain in the hunt for a National League Wild Card spot. They’ll face off against the New York Mets in a crucial three-game series, starting on Tuesday. Rookie right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach will take the mound for the Braves, while veteran Luis Severino will counter for the Mets. Both pitchers are potential streamers for this key matchup.

Schwellenbach has been a bright spot for the Braves, posting a 3.61 ERA and 3.35 xFIP in over 100 innings pitched. His 21.4 K-BB% ranks an impressive 13th among pitchers with at least 100 IP. Severino, meanwhile, has enjoyed a resurgence season with the Mets, thanks in part to pitching in the best pitcher’s park in the league. His 4.17 xFIP and 4.26 SIERA indicate he hasn’t pitched quite as well as his 3.79 ERA suggests, but he’s done a great job limiting walks and keeping the ball in the yard.

As the Braves and Mets face off, Schwellenbach gets the edge due to his better peripherals and the fact that he’s pitching at home against a lineup with a higher recent strikeout rate.

In other matchups, Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Bowden Francis is a top streaming candidate, despite barely eclipsing the 50% rostered mark. He’s been one of the best pitchers in baseball down the stretch, sporting a 1.67 ERA and 0.50 WHIP over his last 54 IP. Francis will face a depleted Boston Red Sox lineup, missing key players like Rafael Devers and Tyler O’Neill.

Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Ryan Pepiot is another potential spot-starter, despite facing a Detroit Tigers team that’s pushing for a playoff spot. Pepiot is coming off a dominant home effort against the Red Sox, logging 12 strikeouts with no walks and yielding just one earned run on two hits in six innings.

Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Tobias Myers is also worth considering, as he takes on the Pittsburgh Pirates in a juicy road matchup. Myers has stepped up in the absence of Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff, posting a 3.05 ERA that’s probably a run too low based on estimators. He’ll face a Pirates lineup with the 12th-lowest wOBA against right-handers over the past month.
