Get Ready for Thrilling Hoops Action!
The Sydney Kings stole the show on the final night of HoopsFest, spoiling Montrezl Harrell’s debut with the Adelaide 36ers. Meanwhile, basketball fans are buzzing with the news that towering center Tacko Fall is joining the New Zealand Breakers for their highly anticipated NBA preseason games in early October.
Standing at an incredible 7’6″, Fall will suit up as a guest player for the Breakers, taking on the Utah Jazz on October 5, the Philadelphia 76ers on October 8, and the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 11. These matchups will mark the Breakers’ sixth, seventh, and eighth NBLxNBA games as a franchise.
Fall, 28, brings a wealth of NBA experience to the table, having played three seasons with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers from 2019 to 2022. Throughout his 37-game NBA career, he has averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Most recently, Fall played for the Piratas de Quebradillas in Puerto Rico.
While the Breakers have no plans to sign Fall beyond these preseason games, fans are excited to see him take the court alongside the team’s talented roster, which includes former Arizona star Parker Jackson-Cartwright, ex-76ers forward Jonah Bolden, and promising young players like Mojave King and Karim Lopez.
