Royal Reality TV: A Trainwreck of Epic Proportions

The Royal Reality Check

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Meghan and Harry, but it seems like they’re always lurking just beneath the surface of pop culture, waiting to resurface and grab our attention. Despite their claims of seeking a private life, they seem to crave the spotlight more than ever.

A Calculated Move

Take, for instance, their recent trip to Los Angeles, where they visited the scenes of devastation, accompanied by a camera crew. Was it a genuine attempt to help, or a cynical ploy to garner attention? The jury’s still out, but one thing’s for sure – it didn’t quite have the desired PR effect.

Meghan’s Latest Vanity Project

What’s undeniable, however, is Meghan’s latest endeavor – a show that’s been dubbed the most pretentious, vapid, and grandiose piece of trash to hit our screens. Even by Netflix standards, this is a low blow.

A Rented Mansion and Paid Actors

The trailer alone is a masterclass in tone-deafness, showcasing Meghan’s lavish lifestyle in the midst of a natural disaster. But what’s even more astonishing is that the mansion isn’t even hers – it was rented for a whopping $5 million. And to add insult to injury, the show features paid actors, including Mindy Kaling, to demonstrate Meghan’s “authenticity.”

A Shameless Ripoff

Reports suggest that the show’s concept is a blatant ripoff of other people’s content, with recipes and ideas lifted from various sources. Even the beekeeping segment seems to be a direct copy of Kate Middleton’s hobby, right down to the identical outfit.

Netflix’s Unusual Move

What’s surprising, however, is Netflix’s decision to keep the YouTube comments open, despite the trailer getting ratioed into oblivion. With over 1.2 million views and only 17,000 likes, it’s clear that the public is not impressed. The comments section is a treasure trove of scathing criticism, with viewers calling out the show’s fake and manipulative nature.

A Unifying Force

In a strange way, Meghan’s show has become a unifying force – with 95% of people seemingly united in their revulsion towards it. As one commenter aptly put it, “I want to thank every single one of you for making sure I don’t have to see that narcissist’s face on my telly anymore.”

A Public Service

By leaving the comments open, Netflix has inadvertently provided a public service that’s far more entertaining than the show itself. So, here’s to Meghan’s ego trip – may it continue to entertain us with its cringe-worthy moments and scathing criticism.
