The Redemption of a Rivalry
For those familiar with my past, it’s no secret that Doug Gottlieb and I had a long-standing feud. However, as part of my personal growth and rehabilitation in 2022, we managed to put our differences aside. Little did we know, this truce would mark the beginning of a tumultuous journey for Doug.
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Since his hiring, Doug has faced a string of embarrassing incidents. From his debut, where he donned a sweat-drenched shirt, to being outmaneuvered by Schefter, it’s been a downward spiral. Who can forget his infamous mistake of referring to a Division 2 team as “Nobody U,” only to suffer a crushing defeat at their hands? The cherry on top was his winless December, which he had jokingly predicted would be a month of leisure, tweeting memes about nobody working during the holiday season.
A New Generation of Trolls
Fast-forward to the present, and it seems the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) student section has taken it upon themselves to remind Doug of his past adversaries. I must admit, I find their antics absolutely hilarious. These students deserve all the accolades they can get, and I hope they make it to the tournament. Their unwavering spirit has earned them a special place in my heart – Ryders for life, indeed! Legends in their own right.
