Rex Ryan’s Return to the Jets: A Dream Come True?
It’s hard to believe, but the rumors are true: Rex Ryan is in the running to become the head coach of the New York Jets once again. At first, I thought it was just another wild rumor circulating during the peak of NFL Rumor Season. But after seeing the confirmation from a reliable source, I couldn’t help but get excited.

Ryan, known for his confidence and charisma, seems to be back to his old self. He’s oozing with swagger, just like it’s 2010 all over again. This time, however, he’s not boasting about being the best coach in the league or trying to one-up Bill Belichick. Instead, he’s convinced that he’ll land the Jets’ head coaching job, and when he does, he’s promising to shake things up.
Taking Aim at Aaron Rodgers
Ryan recently appeared on ESPN New York radio, where he ripped into Aaron Rodgers for skipping the team’s mandatory minicamp last June to take a vacation to Egypt. He criticized the organization’s leadership for allowing it, saying it sent a terrible message to the team. “If he comes back, things would be different,” Ryan warned. “It ain’t gonna be the country club, show up whenever the hell you want to show up. That ain’t gonna happen.”

Ryan, now an ESPN analyst, is adamant that he’ll get the job. “Oh, 100 percent, absolutely, I do,” he said. “The reason I think I’m going to get it is because I’m the best guy for it.” He even took a subtle jab at Ben Johnson, saying he’s a better candidate for the position.

As a fan of a different AFC East team, I shouldn’t be invested in the Jets’ drama. But I can’t help but want this to happen. The thought of Rex Ryan returning to the Jets is too enticing to ignore.
