Buckeye Brilliance: A Dominant Victory for the Ages

Buckeyes Dominate: A Statement Win for the Ages

The dust has settled, and the final score reads 41-21. But let’s be real, it wasn’t even that close. As I reflect on the game, I’m still buzzing from Oregon Wallen’s latest hit single ’24 Ducks, which has been on repeat since the final whistle.

A Tale of Two Teams

Ohio State was the superior team in every aspect. They were bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, tougher, and better prepared than Oregon. The Ducks, despite their impressive 13-0 record and Big 10 Championship, were simply outmatched. They deserved a more favorable matchup, but instead, they faced the most talented and determined team in college football.

A Coach’s Blunder

I had planned to give Dan Lanning a nod of respect, but then I stumbled upon a quote that left me speechless. It seems he’s still bitter about the loss. Newsflash, Dan: you can’t talk trash when you’ve just been dominated. Your coaching decisions, like punting on 4th and short down 14-0, were questionable at best. And now, you’re running your mouth? That’s just poor sportsmanship.

On to the Next

The good news is that we’re moving on to the Cotton Bowl, where we’ll face Texas. And, as an added bonus, I no longer have to eat those dreaded Peeps. Ryan Day and the team had my back, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.

A Win for the Ages

Was tonight’s victory one of the greatest of all time? Maybe it’s recency bias, but it’s hard to ignore the significance of this win. We took down the #1 team in the country, on their turf, with everyone doubting us. It’s a statement win, and one that will be remembered for years to come. As my late grandfather would say, “God, my God, is it GREAT to be from Ohio!”
