Hannah Green Leads BMW Ladies Championship by 2 Strokes

Green Holds Strong Lead in BMW Ladies Championship

At the Seowon Valley Country Club in Paju, South Korea, Australian golfer Hannah Green continues to dominate the BMW Ladies Championship. With a 2-under 70 on Saturday, she maintains a two-stroke lead after three rounds.

A Consistent Performance

Green has been consistent throughout the tournament, shooting 64 in each of the first two rounds. Her overall score of 18-under 198 is a testament to her exceptional skill and strategy on the course. She has led outright or shared the lead at the end of each round, demonstrating her determination to take home the championship title.

A New Challenger Emerges

However, Green’s lead is not without challenge. Yu Jin Sung of South Korea made a remarkable leap up the leaderboard with a 9-under 63, the best score of the round. Sung is now just two shots behind Green, adding an exciting layer of competition to the tournament.

A Crowded Field

The BMW Ladies Championship has attracted a talented field of golfers, including 17 of the tour’s 18 winners this season. Among them are Ashleigh Buhai of South Africa, who trails Green by three strokes after a 71, and Haeran Ryu of South Korea and Ryann O’Toole of the United States, who are four strokes behind after carding 68s.

A Notable Absence

One notable absence from the tournament is Nelly Korda, the LPGA’s No. 1-ranked golfer, who withdrew before the event due to a neck injury. Despite this, the competition remains fierce, and the final round promises to be an exhilarating conclusion to the championship.
