Get Ready for a Marvelous Afternoon
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be going live at 4pm ET for my second-ever ‘Marvel Rivals’ stream! But before we dive into the action, I want to address the elephant in the room. There’s been a buzz surrounding the game’s character designs, with some critics claiming they’re a bit too risqué. Specifically, Squirrel Girl and Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Woman) have been getting a lot of attention – and not all of it is positive.
The Uncomfortable Truth
Let’s be real, some fans have taken their enthusiasm to an uncomfortable level. A quick scan of social media reveals a plethora of explicit content featuring these characters. As someone who appreciates a good character design, I’m taken aback by the sheer amount of inappropriate fan art and hentai porn circulating online. It’s not about kink-shaming, but rather acknowledging that some boundaries have been crossed.
A More Palatable Alternative
On a more positive note, the character designs have also inspired some amazing cosplay creations. If you’re interested in seeing some talented fans bring these characters to life, I’d be happy to share some examples. And, of course, I’ll be live-streaming my ‘Marvel Rivals’ gameplay until 5pm ET, so feel free to join in and chat with me!
A Confession
I must confess, I didn’t actually think ‘Marvel Rivals’ was under fire for its character designs. I just needed a catchy headline to promote my livestream, and I knew you all would be curious about the controversy. Well, I got you! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s focus on having some fun and enjoying the game. See you in the stream!
