Discovering a New Favorite Player
As I stumbled upon a mic’d up clip of Spencer Brown, I couldn’t help but be drawn to his infectious energy. Despite not being a die-hard football fan, Brown’s charisma and humor won me over, making him an instant favorite.
A Pop Punk Enthusiast on the Field
What caught my attention was Brown’s rendition of ‘Dear Maria, Count Me In’ by All Time Low during a game. It’s not every day you see a professional athlete belting out a pop punk anthem without a care in the world. This carefree attitude reminded me of Kirk Cousins, who allegedly didn’t create a playlist featuring 00s era pop punk, but I’m not buying it. Brown’s enthusiasm would likely resonate with Taylor Lewan, a self-proclaimed blink-182 superfan.
A Standout Player and a Lovable Personality
Despite his entertaining antics, Brown is reportedly a skilled player, earning the admiration of the Bills fan base. His lighthearted nature is a breath of fresh air, making him a standout both on and off the field.
A Summer 2025 Invitation
As the Pup Punk wishlist for Summer 2025 takes shape, Spencer Brown has an open invitation to join us on stage in Buffalo. Who knows, maybe he’ll even share some of his favorite tunes with the crowd. On a separate note, I’m eager to try Wingnutz for the first time, indulging in their famous wings.
All Time Low: A Live Experience Like No Other
Speaking of music, All Time Low’s re-recording of ‘Dear Maria’ last year is a testament to the song’s timeless appeal. If you haven’t seen them live, do yourself a favor and catch their show when they come to town. With over 20 shows under my belt, I can attest that their live performances never disappoint.
A Musical Detour
