And let’s not forget his decision to retain Mike McCarthy as head coach, a move that has yielded little success.

As I write this, the Cowboys are struggling on Monday Night Football, down 17-7 at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The game got off to a disastrous start, with Joe Mixon scoring a touchdown on the opening drive. To make matters worse, a fake punt attempt was sniffed out by the Bengals, leaving the Cowboys’ coaching staff looking clueless.

To add insult to injury, the Cowboys will have to navigate the rest of the season without their star quarterback, Dak Prescott. It’s a daunting task, especially considering their recent struggles. As the season wears on, it’ll be interesting to see how the team responds to his absence.
