IShowSpeed’s Olympic Delusions: A Reality Check

The Rise and Fall of IShowSpeed’s Olympic Dreams

IShowSpeed, the self-proclaimed speed demon, has been making waves online with his boasts of athleticism. However, it seems he’s gotten a bit carried away, claiming he can participate in the Olympics. Sorry, IShowSpeed, but that’s just not how it works.

The Harsh Reality of Olympic Qualification

To participate in the coveted 100m dash event, you need to be among the 56 fastest humans on the planet. Unfortunately, IShowSpeed doesn’t quite meet that criteria. It’s not about being fast; it’s about being the best of the best.

The Boxing Conundrum

It seems IShowSpeed has Olympic Track & Field confused with boxing, where having a large following and being annoying online can get you a fight. But the Olympics aren’t about popularity contests; they’re about showcasing the world’s top athletes.

The Facade of Professional Boxing

In the world of boxing, it’s possible to create a lucrative career by being loud and annoying online. But that’s not what the Olympics are about. The Olympics are about athletes who have dedicated their lives to their craft, not internet personalities looking for a quick buck.

A Possible Future for the Olympics?

Maybe by 2028, the Olympics will change and allow for a more… let’s say, “relaxed” qualification process. Perhaps Twitch viewership will become a criteria for Olympic participation. But until then, IShowSpeed will have to stick to his YouTube streams.

The Problem with IShowSpeed

To be frank, I’m tired of IShowSpeed’s constant boasts about his athleticism. Every time he takes on a professional athlete, the outcome is always the same: “Oh, you’re better than I thought!” followed by a polite golf clap. It’s time to put his claims to the test.

A Proposal for the Olympic Committee

Why not let IShowSpeed participate in every individual Olympic event? It would be a great way to showcase his athleticism (or lack thereof) and put an end to his boasts once and for all. The Olympics would continue as usual, and we could all move on with our lives.

A Lament for the Good Old Days

Remember when people had real names? Not screen names or handles, but actual names. It’s time to go back to those days. YouTube streamers introducing each other with x’s and numbers in their names is just getting out of hand. Can we please just have normal names again?
