Catching Greatness: One-Handed Wonders & Pancake Flips

The Unstoppable Catch

Garrett Wilson’s incredible one-handed grab has taken the spotlight, earning him the title of catch of the year. However, it’s hard to ignore the iconic standard set by Odell Beckham Jr.’s original one-hander at MetLife Stadium. But what about the catch that trumps them all?

A Personal Best

As I reflected on the greatest catches, I couldn’t help but think of an Eagles fan who spiked the ball and returned it to the team. In contrast, when I caught a ball on an NFL practice field, I held onto it tight. The Yak, however, had other plans for me.

Raising the Bar

Today, The Yak challenged me to take my catching skills to new heights – literally. We set up a scenario where I’d flip a pancake while simultaneously catching a ball thrown my way. Having never flipped a pancake to great heights before, I was nervous but determined. As it turns out, I’m a natural! The result was nothing short of impressive, with some even creating an epic highlight reel from the footage.

A Word of Caution

But be warned: if you’re planning to show this to your significant other, proceed with caution. The ego boost might just be too much to handle.
