In a thrilling finale, Hannah Green of Australia emerged victorious at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea, claiming her sixth LPGA Tour title and third win of the season. With a 1-under 71 on Sunday, Green secured a 19-under 269 overall, maintaining her lead or sharing it after all four rounds.

A Tight Competition

Celine Boutier of France gave Green a run for her money, shooting an impressive 6-under 66 to finish just one stroke behind. Thailand’s Chanettee Wannasaen also made a strong showing, landing two shots behind the winner with a 68. The competition was fierce, with eight of the top 10 LPGA players vying for the top spot.

Notable Absence and Strong Field

The tournament was notable for the absence of No. 1-ranked Nelly Korda, who withdrew due to a neck injury. Despite this, the field remained stacked with talent, featuring 17 of the 18 winners from events this season. In the end, Green’s consistency and skill paid off, earning her the coveted title.

Final Standings

Rounding out the top five were Hye-Jin Choi (67) and Yu Jin Sung (72), both of South Korea, who tied for fourth place, three strokes behind the winner. The BMW Ladies Championship proved to be an exciting event, showcasing the talents of some of the world’s best female golfers.
