Fantasy Football Week 7: Top Picks and Matchups to Watch
Get ready for another thrilling week of fantasy football! Our experts have scoured the schedules, injury reports, and stats to bring you the top picks and matchups to watch in Week 7.
Early Games
- New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars’ defense has been generous to opposing quarterbacks, allowing at least 23 fantasy points in four straight contests. Drake Maye could be in for a big day.
- Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns: David Njoku’s workload is increasing, and he should be heavily involved against the Bengals, who have afforded tight ends the fourth-most points per target.
Afternoon Games
- Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills: Downgrade the Bills’ receiving group due to their tough matchup against the Titans’ secondary. However, Amari Cooper’s arrival could open up more routes for Dalton Kincaid over the middle.
- Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts: De’Von Achane is set up for a decent matchup against the Colts, who have allowed the third-most RB yards this season.
- Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants: Upgrade A.J. Brown, who is expected to be shadowed by struggling Giants cornerback Deonte Banks.
Late Games
- Seattle Seahawks vs. Atlanta Falcons: Tyler Allgeier continues to split carries with Bijan Robinson in the Falcons’ backfield. The Falcons could lean on the ground attack again against Seattle.
- Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings: Jared Goff is playing his best football of the season, and it’s reflected by both the numbers and the game tape. He’s a good streamer option in a key NFC North matchup.
- Houston Texans vs. Green Bay Packers: Dalton Schultz handled a season-high eight targets last week and is a streaming option against a Packers defense that has allowed the third-most receptions and fantasy points to tight ends.
Primetime Games
- Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Commanders: Xavier Legette has produced a touchdown reception and double-digit points in two of his past three games. He’s a deeper-league option against a Commanders defense allowing 7.5 YPA.
- Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Rams: Tre Tucker had his first opportunity to run as the Raiders’ No. 1 wide receiver last week, but it didn’t go well. Jakobi Meyers is a lineup lock if healthy.
- Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers: JuJu Smith-Schuster was on the field for 53 offensive plays, recording a slot rate of 38.5%. This alignment should work well given that the 49ers have excelled on the perimeter but struggled against the slot.
Monday Night Football
- Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield has thrived in new offensive coordinator Liam Coen’s offense, throwing with even greater comfort than he did during his breakthrough 2024. Rashod Bateman is emerging as a steady perimeter target for Lamar Jackson.
- Los Angeles Chargers vs. Arizona Cardinals: J.K. Dobbins’ backfield takeover appears complete, and the Cardinals have surrendered the most rushing yards over the past four weeks. Ladd McConkey has emerged as Justin Herbert’s favorite target, playing mostly out of the slot.
