Travis Hunter Set to Return to Action for Colorado
The wait is almost over for Colorado football fans, as star player Travis Hunter is expected to take the field against Arizona on Saturday. This comes as a huge relief after Hunter exited last week’s game against Kansas State with a right shoulder injury in the second quarter.
A Valuable Asset on Both Sides of the Ball
Hunter, a Heisman Trophy contender, has been a crucial player for the Buffaloes, leading the team with 49 catches for 587 yards and six touchdowns through six games. His impact doesn’t stop there, as he’s also Colorado’s top defensive player. Coach Deion Sanders expressed confidence in Hunter’s return, saying, “Travis should play for certain.”
Other Receivers Update
Jimmy Horn, Colorado’s second-leading receiver, is also expected to play against Arizona, according to Sanders. Horn, who caught three passes for 20 yards before exiting early against the Wildcats, will provide a welcome boost to the team’s offense.
Omarion Miller Out for the Season
Unfortunately, not all news is positive. Omarion Miller, who had a breakout game against Kansas State with eight receptions for 145 yards, underwent surgery on Monday and will miss the remainder of the season. This is a significant blow, as Miller was starting to find his rhythm on the field.
A Crucial Game Ahead
With Hunter and Horn back in the lineup, Colorado will look to bounce back from their loss to Kansas State. The team’s performance against Arizona will be closely watched, as they aim to get their season back on track.
