Green-Melinda vs Watpool: New Title Fight Added to Paul-Tyson Undercard

Get Ready for the Ultimate Showdown: Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

The wait is finally over! Most Valuable Promotions has announced the highly anticipated three-fight preliminary card for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. And what a lineup it is!

Women’s Boxing Takes Center Stage

In a thrilling matchup, Shadasia Green (14-1, 11 KOs) will face undefeated Melinda Watpool (7-0, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBO super middleweight title. Green, currently ranked No. 1 by the WBO, is on a mission to become a world champion after falling short in her previous attempt. Watpool, sitting at No. 2, is determined to dethrone Green and claim the title for herself.

A Second Chance at Glory

Green’s journey to the top hasn’t been easy. She suffered a unanimous decision loss to Franchon Crews Dezurn for the vacant WBC title in December 2023. However, she bounced back with a win over Natasha Spence in July, setting the stage for another shot at championship gold.

The Road to Redemption

The WBO super middleweight title was previously held by Savannah Marshall, who became the undisputed super middleweight champion after defeating Crews Dezurn in July 2023. Marshall hasn’t defended her titles since, opting instead to try her hand in MMA. Now, Green is ready to seize the opportunity and claim the title for herself.

A Star-Studded Preliminary Card

Rounding out the preliminary card are two exciting matchups. Undefeated featherweight Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington Jr. (13-0, 8 KOs) will face Australia’s Dana Coolwell (13-2, 8 KOs) in a scheduled 8-round tilt. Meanwhile, lightweight Lucas “Prince” Bahdi (17-0, 15 KOs) will take on Corey Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) in a 10-round battle.

The Main Event

The preliminary card will set the stage for the highly anticipated main event: Jake Paul’s showdown with heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson. Also featured will be the highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, as well as Mario Barrios defending his WBC welterweight title against Abel Ramos.

Don’t Miss Out!

The event will air live globally on Netflix, so mark your calendars for November 15 and get ready for an unforgettable night of boxing!
