Waiver Wire Pickups for a Successful Fantasy Football Season
The NFL is a “next man up” league, and your fantasy football team should be no exception. With injuries and bye weeks looming, it’s essential to stay ahead of the curve and pick up players who can make an impact on your roster. Here are some waiver wire pickups to consider for Week 7 and beyond.
Wide Receivers to Target
With Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. exiting Sunday’s game with a concussion, fantasy managers should look to grab Michael Wilson (14.2% rostered). Wilson has had six-plus targets in three of his last four games and has scored double-digit fantasy points in all of those games.
Other wide receivers to consider include:

- JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs (17.8% rostered): Smith-Schuster led the Chiefs’ wide receivers with eight targets and scored 20 fantasy points in Week 5.
- Romeo Doubs (29.6%) and Christian Watson (44.6%), Green Bay Packers: Both Doubs and Watson have been productive in the Packers’ offense and have favorable matchups ahead.

- Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings (45.4% rostered): Darnold has favorable matchups ahead and could be a solid streaming option.
