**F**king Baseball Is Back, You Pussies!

In the aftermath of a heated NLDS matchup, San Diego Padres skipper Mike Shildt came to the defense of his star third baseman, Manny Machado, following comments from Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. Roberts had described Machado’s throw toward the Dodgers’ dugout as “unsettling,” but Shildt vehemently disagreed, refusing to criticize another player or team.

Shildt instead chose to praise Machado’s leadership and professionalism, highlighting his impromptu team meeting in the dugout during Game 2. “He’s made tremendous strides both on and off the field,” Shildt said. “It’s been an honor to witness that. He’s a shining example of what it means to be a Roberto Clemente Award winner.”

When asked if Machado had intentionally targeted Roberts with his throw, Shildt replied, “Zero. Manny has incredible arm talent. He proved that with the triple play.” Major League Baseball reviewed the incident and will not take disciplinary action.

As the series shifts to Petco Park, both teams anticipate a highly charged atmosphere. Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy emphasized the importance of staying focused and avoiding getting drawn into the emotional fray. “The Padres thrive on that kind of energy,” Muncy said. “If we let it get to us, we’re playing right into their hands. We need to stay locked in and focused on our own game.”
