**FUCKING FINALS SCHEDULE**Liberty Takes On Lynx in 2024 WNBA Showdown: Dates, Highlights, and More

The stage is set for an epic showdown in the WNBA Finals as the top-ranked New York Liberty face off against the Minnesota Lynx in a best-of-five series. The Liberty, seeking their inaugural championship, will have the advantage of playing Games 1, 2, and potentially 5 at home in Brooklyn.

This marks the first time the Liberty have reached the Finals, while the Lynx are looking to add to their impressive collection of four WNBA titles. The Lynx last appeared in the Finals in 2017, when they took home the championship. Meanwhile, the Liberty fell short in the Finals just last year, losing to the Las Vegas Aces.

Both teams boast an impressive array of talent, with the Lynx’s Napheesa Collier finishing second in MVP voting this season, followed closely by the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart in third. Stewart, a two-time MVP, is joined by teammate Jonquel Jones, who won the honor in 2021. The Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu, a No. 1 draft pick in 2020, rounds out the star-studded lineup.

The WNBA Finals tip off on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, with each game airing on ESPN Networks. The schedule is as follows:

Game 1: Minnesota at New York, Thursday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Game 2: Minnesota at New York, Sunday, Oct. 13 (3 p.m. ET, ABC)
Game 3: New York at Minnesota, Wednesday, Oct. 16 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Game 4*: New York at Minnesota, Friday, Oct. 18 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Game 5*: Minnesota at New York, Sunday, Oct. 20 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN)

In their regular-season matchups, the Lynx held a 3-1 advantage over the Liberty, including a Commissioner’s Cup championship game win in late June. However, the Liberty finished two games ahead of the Lynx in the regular-season standings, setting the stage for a thrilling championship series.
