This week’s SP+ rankings saw some significant shifts, with Wisconsin, Indiana, and West Virginia making notable gains. Meanwhile, Missouri, Florida State, and Iowa suffered significant drops.

Looking ahead to the College Football Playoff, SP+ projections suggest a thrilling 12-team tournament. Texas, Ohio State, Miami, and Ole Miss would secure the top four spots, with Indiana and Georgia also making strong cases.

In the Résumé SP+ rankings, which evaluate teams based on their performance against their schedule, Texas and Ohio State lead the pack. Army, meanwhile, sneaks into the top 15, raising the possibility of a historic Army-Navy showdown.
