This Sunday, the Cleveland Browns are anticipating the return of their star tight end, David Njoku, who has been sidelined since Week 1 due to a high ankle sprain. Despite being listed as questionable, sources indicate that Njoku is likely to take the field against the Washington Commanders. Although he may not be at full strength, his presence will undoubtedly boost the Browns’ offense.
Njoku’s impressive performance last season earned him his first Pro Bowl selection, with 81 receptions, 882 yards, and six touchdowns. His return will be a welcome addition to the team, especially after missing several weeks of action.
In other news, the Browns are also expected to see the return of offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr., who has been recovering from a knee injury sustained in Week 3. Wills is listed as questionable, but sources suggest he will be ready to play on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders are expected to have a healthy backfield, with Austin Ekeler cleared from the concussion protocol and Brian Robinson Jr. deemed “good to go” after dealing with a right knee injury. Both players are set to take the field on Sunday, providing a much-needed boost to the Commanders’ offense.
