Fantasy Football Consistency Insights
As we approach the midpoint of the 2024 season, it’s essential to evaluate player performance through a consistency lens. Our proprietary metrics provide a comprehensive view of each player’s reliability, helping you make informed lineup decisions.
**Understanding the Metrics**
* **Reliability Rating (RR)**: A player’s RR is calculated by dividing their weekly fantasy points standard deviation by their average points per game. Lower scores indicate greater consistency.
* **Start Frequency (SF)**: The percentage of games where a player’s performance warranted a starting spot in a standard ESPN league.
* **Non-PPR Start Frequency (nSF)**: The same as SF, but using non-PPR scoring settings.
* **Average Fantasy Points (AFP)**: A player’s average points scored per game.
* **Impact Games (IG)**: The number of times a player’s performance ranked among the top at their position.
* **Disappointing Games (DG)**: The number of times a player’s performance ranked among the worst at their position.
* **Missed Games (MG)**: The number of games a player missed due to injury or other reasons.
**Benchmarks for Reliability**
