Top-Rated Running Back Prospect Ousmane Kromah Commits to Georgia Bulldogs
In a significant development for the Georgia Bulldogs, four-star running back Ousmane Kromah, ranked as the top uncommitted running back in the 2025 class by ESPN, announced his decision to join the Bulldogs on Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect from Leesburg, Georgia, is considered the 127th overall prospect and ninth-ranked running back in the 2025 cycle.
Kromah’s commitment marks the culmination of a months-long pursuit by the Bulldogs, who hosted him on an official visit on September 7. He also visited Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida State over the summer. With his pledge, only three of ESPN’s top 50 running backs in the 2025 class remain uncommitted, with the early signing period just two months away.
The talented running back joins an impressive incoming class at Georgia, which now boasts 15 ESPN 300 recruits, including four-star outside linebacker Zayden Walker and defensive end Isaiah Gibson. Kromah’s versatility and athleticism will provide a significant boost to the Bulldogs’ backfield in 2025. In his junior season, he rushed for 1,782 yards with 20 touchdowns and added 31 receptions for 522 yards and nine more scores.
“Ousmane is an exceptional all-around back who can thrive in any scheme,” said Lee County coach Dean Fabrizio. This fall, Kromah has already racked up 635 rushing yards with seven touchdowns.
With Kromah on board, the Bulldogs’ 2025 class rises to fifth in ESPN’s latest team rankings. Georgia will continue to pursue top prospects, including five-star defenders Elijah Griffin and Justus Terry, over the next two months. The fifth-ranked Bulldogs face Auburn on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
