**Longtime Executive Departs Minnesota Baseball Team**
After eight years at the helm, a senior vice president and general manager has parted ways with the Minnesota baseball team. The 52-year-old executive is leaving to explore new opportunities within and outside the sport.
During their tenure, the team secured three division titles and made four postseason appearances. Despite a respectable 82-80 record in 2024, the team fell short of the playoffs.
The team’s president of baseball operations praised the departing executive, saying, “Their impact on our organization cannot be overstated. They have been a true partner and leader, always striving to elevate our team and care for those around them. They helped create a strong team culture focused on excellence and collaboration, which will continue to thrive in the future.”
The executive’s departure comes on the heels of the team’s decision to let go of four assistant coaches. However, the team has confirmed that its manager will return for the 2025 season.
Before joining the Minnesota team, the executive held positions in the front offices of several other teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, and Texas Rangers.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to have led this team over the past eight years,” the executive said. “The time is right for me to take on a new challenge. I will always treasure the friendships I’ve made within the organization and throughout the community.”
