**REAL MADRID: WE’RE F**KING FINE AFTER LILLE DEFEAT, SAYS ANCELOTTI**

Real Madrid’s Coach Sees Silver Lining in Recent Defeat

Following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Lille in the Champions League, Real Madrid’s coach remains optimistic about his team’s prospects. Despite seeing their 36-game unbeaten streak come to an end, the coach believes the defeat presents an opportunity for growth.

“We gave it our all and competed until the very end,” he said. “The reaction was good, and we’re on the right path. We’re stronger than ever.” The coach acknowledges that the team needs to improve, starting with their upcoming home game against Villarreal.

“I’m not worried about criticism; my concern is that we need to play better,” he stated. “We’re lacking a bit of intensity, and the ball needs to get to our forwards quicker.” The coach remains confident in his team’s abilities, citing their unbeaten record in LaLiga.

One area of concern is the team’s midfield, with some questioning whether they’ve found a suitable replacement for the retired Toni Kroos. The coach disagrees, pointing to the talent and variety of players like Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, and Jude Bellingham.

Meanwhile, star player Kylian Mbappé, who has been struggling with a thigh problem, trained normally ahead of the Villarreal game. Mbappé, the team’s leading scorer this season, was left out of France’s Nations League squad to aid his recovery.

The coach emphasized that Mbappé’s issue hasn’t been fully resolved, but he has been in touch with France’s medical team. Real Madrid currently sits second in LaLiga, three points behind leaders Barcelona and one point ahead of Villarreal.
