**GOLF AGENTS GET FU*KED: NEW CERTIFICATION RULES SLAM TOUR PLAYERS’ REPS**

In a move to elevate the standards of representation in professional golf, a new certification program is set to take effect in 2025. The initiative, aimed at ensuring agents and managers meet the highest levels of integrity and expertise, will be a mandatory requirement for obtaining a season credential.

To achieve certification, agents must complete a series of interactive educational modules focused on integrity and best practices. Additionally, they will be required to adhere to a strict code of conduct, demonstrating their commitment to upholding the values of the sport.

The certification process comes with a fee, with agencies required to pay an annual $1,500 application fee. Individual agents seeking full access to tournament facilities, including the clubhouse, locker room, practice area, media center, and family dining, will need to pay $500 plus tax. A reduced rate of $375 plus tax is available for agents seeking limited access to the clubhouse.

The expanded access afforded to certified agents also includes parking privileges at all tournaments. Those who fail to complete the certification process will be required to purchase weekly tickets to attend events, highlighting the importance of meeting the new standards.
