A top-flight club’s manager is staying calm despite a sluggish start to the season, with only two wins in six matches. The team’s lackluster performance has sparked concerns, and they currently sit 13th in the standings.
In a recent interview, the manager expressed confidence in his team’s ability to turn things around. “We’re going to make this season a success,” he stated. “It’s not easy, but I’m not panicking. We can fix our issues, and this team has the capability to do so.”
When asked about his job security, the manager brushed off any concerns, saying, “I’m not worried about it. I’m not anxious.” He emphasized the unity between the club’s ownership, leadership, and himself, citing their shared strategy to develop young players during this transitional period.
The manager acknowledged that his team is going through a rebuilding phase, which takes time. “When I joined, I knew we had to make changes,” he explained. “We had to replace older players with younger ones, which requires time to adapt to our game model and culture.”
Despite the current struggles, the manager pointed to his past successes, having won eight trophies in the last six years. “I’ve proven that I can win, and I’m confident we’ll do so again,” he said.
The team will face a crucial test on Thursday when they travel to face their European opponents.
