Jadon Sancho Believes Sky’s the Limit for Chelsea with Cole Palmer Leading the Charge
Following Cole Palmer’s historic four-goal haul in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Brighton, Jadon Sancho has expressed his confidence in the team’s potential with the talented youngster leading the charge. Palmer’s sensational start to the season has left many in awe, and Sancho is no exception.
“When you have a player like Cole Palmer on your team, anything can happen,” Sancho emphasized. “I’ve had the pleasure of watching him develop since our time together at Manchester City, and I always knew he had the potential to become a top-notch player. He’s proving it now at Chelsea.”
Sancho, who has quickly settled into his new role at Chelsea, praised Palmer’s exceptional quality, stating, “We see it every day in training – the skill, the talent. It’s no surprise to me that he’s scoring goals left and right. In fact, he could have easily scored five or six against Brighton!”
The winger, who won the penalty that led to Palmer’s second goal and set up the fourth, has been instrumental in Chelsea’s recent success, earning his third assist in as many games since joining the club. Sancho reflected on his own performance, saying, “I may have started a bit slow, but I grew into the game. I’m thrilled to be contributing to the team’s success, and I’m eager to keep the momentum going – whether it’s assisting my teammates or finally scoring my first goal.”
