**F**ck Yeah, It’s Football Season!

In a thrilling matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made history on Sunday as their star wide receiver, Mike Evans, became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. This impressive feat was achieved with an opening-drive touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the team’s first opening-drive score since the 2022 season.

Evans’ remarkable achievement was made possible by a well-executed play, where quarterback Baker Mayfield connected with him in the corner of the end zone on an out route for a 2-yard score. This brought Evans’ total career points to 596, surpassing the previous record held by kicker Martin Gramatica.

The Buccaneers’ offense continued to dominate, with Mayfield connecting with second-year receiver Trey Palmer on a 15-yard touchdown on their very next possession. This marked the first time the team scored on their first two possessions since December 5, 2021.

Evans’ record-breaking performance puts him in elite company, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith as the only non-kickers to lead a franchise in points scored. His impressive achievement is a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport.
