In a pivotal matchup on Monday night, the Tennessee Titans secured a crucial 31-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins. However, the win came at a cost as starting quarterback Will Levis suffered a concerning right shoulder injury in the first quarter.
While scrambling for a first down, Levis landed awkwardly on his shoulder, prompting an immediate visit to the medical tent. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph stepped in to lead the offense, guiding the Titans to three scoring drives and a 9-6 halftime lead.
Despite being listed as questionable to return, Levis did not reappear in the second half, with Rudolph remaining at the helm. The backup quarterback finished the night 9-of-17 for 85 yards, helping the Titans secure their first win of the season.
Before his injury, Levis threw his sixth interception of the year, tying him with Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts for most in the league. Unfortunately, Levis’ nine total turnovers (six interceptions, three fumbles) continue to lead the NFL.
