Quarterback Justin Fields led a late-game surge for the Pittsburgh Steelers, bringing them within striking distance of the Indianapolis Colts in a thrilling matchup. Fields’ 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter capped off a drive that saw him connect with George Pickens for a 38-yard gain and Najee Harris for an 11-yard pickup.
Despite a costly fumble on the previous drive, Fields bounced back to score his second rushing touchdown of the day, showcasing his resilience and determination. The Colts responded with a touchdown of their own, taking a 24-10 lead into the fourth quarter.
Undeterred, Fields led the charge once more, plunging into the end zone for a 2-yard touchdown run. This marked the second time in the game that Fields had scored on the ground, making him only the second Steelers quarterback in the past 20 years to achieve this feat, alongside Kenny Pickett in 2022.
