**FUCKING NIGHTMARE: FSU QB Uiagalelei Sidelined with Finger Injury, Status Up in the Air for Clemson Showdown**

College Football Insider

Florida State’s signal caller, DJ Uiagalelei, suffered a finger injury in a recent loss to Southern Methodist University, casting doubt on his availability for the upcoming matchup against Clemson. Coach Mike Norvell addressed the media on Monday, stating that Uiagalelei’s status would be reevaluated throughout the week, with the team taking a wait-and-see approach.

Uiagalelei’s performance this season has been underwhelming, with four touchdowns to six interceptions and a completion rate of 53.8%. His quarterback rating stands at 34.4. Despite this, Norvell has been quick to deflect criticism, citing the need for collective responsibility within the offense.

In the loss to SMU, Uiagalelei was relieved by backup Brock Glenn, who struggled in his limited action, going 0-for-4. This marks the second time Glenn has been called upon to lead the team, having started the conference championship game as a true freshman last season.

The Seminoles’ 1-4 start to the season has raised concerns, but Norvell remains committed to supporting his quarterback. “DJ made some good throws and decisions, but also some poor ones,” Norvell said. “We need to do a better job of helping him out. It’s on all of us to take ownership of our performance.”
