The NFL’s Week 4 saw its fair share of divisional matchups, and with them came some clever and humorous jabs from teams on social media. Here are some of the top trolls from the week:
In the AFC South, the Texans secured a late victory over the Jaguars, thanks to a 1-yard touchdown reception from Dare Ogunbowale. The Texans’ Twitter account responded by photoshopping one of their players into a coat made from the fur of their division rival, referencing a pregame message from the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, the Falcons bounced back from last week’s loss with a thrilling win over the Saints. Atlanta used a popular meme featuring Louisiana-based rapper Boosie to troll New Orleans, captioning the post with his song “Set It Off.”
The Vikings remained undefeated after a nail-biter against the Packers. Minnesota cleverly used former Green Bay running back Aaron Jones to rename the “Lambeau Leap” to the “Victory Vault,” much to the delight of their fans.
The Colts handed the Steelers their first loss of the season, despite Anthony Richardson’s early exit due to injury. Indianapolis trolled Pittsburgh by posting a steel “L,” poking fun at their opponent’s logo.
In Chicago, the Bears snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over the Rams. The Bears’ Twitter account had a simple yet effective troll, replacing the “Rams House” slogan with “OUR HOUSE.”
The Broncos pulled out a close victory over the Jets in a rainy MetLife Stadium. Denver trolled New York with multiple posts, including a reference to a breakfast sandwich a fan bought Mike Williams during his visit last offseason.
Finally, the Buccaneers’ offense came alive against the Eagles, garnering 445 total yards. Tampa Bay poked fun at a viral video of former Eagles center Jason Kelce, using it to troll Philadelphia.
