**F**CKING DOMINANCE: Buffs Unleash Hell on UCF, and This is Only the F**king Start!

In a stunning display of dominance, the Colorado Buffaloes handed the previously undefeated UCF Knights a 48-21 defeat on a sweltering Saturday afternoon. The convincing win marked the largest road conference victory for Colorado since 2005, and their second triumph as double-digit underdogs this season.

The Buffaloes showcased a well-rounded performance, balancing their offense with 128 yards rushing and 290 yards passing, while stifling the nation’s top-ranked run offense. UCF was held to a mere 177 yards on the ground, nearly 200 yards below their average.

Despite being written off as underdogs, Colorado’s head coach remained unfazed, stating, “We’re underdogs every week… Ain’t nobody want to see us win except for our fan base.” However, the team’s 4-1 record, matching their win total from last season, tells a different story.

This season has been a rollercoaster ride for Colorado, with a narrow escape against an FCS opponent, a thrilling Hail Mary victory, and a disappointing road loss to Nebraska. Yet, amidst the ups and downs, the Buffaloes have found a sense of unity and purpose.

Saturday’s win was a testament to the team’s collective effort, with standout performances from quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns, and wide receiver Travis Hunter, who hauled in nine catches for 89 yards and a touchdown, as well as an interception.

Other notable contributors included Will Sheppard, who led all receivers with 99 yards and a score, Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, who returned a fumble 95 yards for a touchdown, and Preston Hodge, who snagged an interception.

The Buffaloes’ dominant display was capped off by a group celebration, with graduate assistant Warren Sapp waving goodbye to the crowd after Silmon-Craig’s score.

As Colorado heads into an open date before hosting Kansas State on October 12, their head coach expressed optimism about the team’s trajectory, saying, “I feel like we’re trending in the right direction… I love where we are as a program.” With two conference wins already under their belt, the Buffaloes are poised to make a statement in the Big 12.
