**FUCKING WAR HALTS FOOTBALL: Lebanon Suspends All Matches Due to Israel-Hezbollah Conflict**

**Sports Schedules Disrupted Amid Rising Tensions**

In response to the escalating conflict in the region, the governing body of football in Lebanon has made the decision to suspend all matches across its affiliated competitions. This move comes on the heels of a series of airstrikes that have left devastating consequences in their wake.

According to official reports, the overnight attacks have resulted in the loss of 558 lives and injured 1,835 people, with tens of thousands more forced to flee for safety. The situation has sparked widespread fears of a full-scale war.

In light of these developments, the executive committee of the football association has opted to postpone all scheduled matches until further notice. The decision affects the top-tier league, which had only just commenced its 2024-25 season, as well as the national team’s fixtures.

Notably, the national team has not played on home soil since last year, instead hosting World Cup qualifying matches in Qatar and the UAE. Similarly, neighboring Palestine has been staging its home games in Kuwait and Qatar, while Israel has opted to host its Nations League matches in Hungary.
