Top-Ranked Recruit Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson Commits to USC Trojans
In a highly anticipated announcement, Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson, the nation’s third-ranked women’s basketball prospect, revealed her commitment to the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans via social media on Tuesday. The coveted 6-foot-2 guard from Clackamas, Oregon, chose USC over top-tier programs UConn, UCLA, TCU, and Duke.
Davidson’s exceptional skills and versatility make her an asset to the Trojans. With her high basketball IQ, she can seamlessly transition between perimeter positions and dominate the court. Her impressive defensive prowess, length, and athleticism enable her to disrupt opponents’ strategies and navigate complex screens.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Lindsay Gottlieb, who secured the top recruiting class last season, Davidson will join a talented roster that includes standout player JuJu Watkins. The Trojans, currently ranked among the top three in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25, are poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming college season.
With the return of Watkins and the addition of high-impact transfers Talia Von Oelhoffen and Kiki Iriafen, the Trojans are expected to be a force to be reckoned with. Freshmen Kennedy Smith, Avery Howell, and Kayleigh Heckel are also anticipated to make significant contributions to the team.
