When it comes to matters of the NFL, I have utmost faith in the words of a certain charismatic former player. His infectious smile, composed demeanor, and impressive on-field accomplishments have earned him a special place in the hearts of many fans.
It’s amusing to see pundits on TV debating the likelihood of teams re-signing their star players. History has shown that when the time is right, owners like Jerry Jones will swoop in with a lucrative contract to keep their superstars happy. Jones has mastered the art of building strong relationships with his players, often hosting lavish parties for them after they’ve signed on the dotted line.
Imagine being invited to party with your boss – it’s a scenario that might evoke mixed reactions. However, when the boss is a billionaire NFL owner, the experience is likely to be unforgettable. These individuals have the means to throw extravagant parties that would be the envy of even the most seasoned partygoers.
In fact, I’ve compiled a list of which NFL owners would be the most and least enjoyable to party with.
Best:
1. Mark Davis – He seems like a genuinely nice guy who loves PF Changs and has the entire city of Las Vegas at his disposal. His questionable hairstyle choices also help put others at ease.
2. Jim Irsay – With his eclectic music taste and impressive collection of artifacts, a party at Irsay’s would be an unforgettable experience.
3. Jerry Jones – For all the reasons mentioned earlier, Jones knows how to throw a memorable bash.
4. Art Rooney II – As the owner of the Steelers, Rooney seems to wield immense power in Pittsburgh, allowing him to live life on his own terms.
5. Packers Fans – It’s difficult to pinpoint a single party-loving individual among the Packers’ ownership group, but celebrating with die-hard fans from Wisconsin would undoubtedly be a wild ride.
Worst:
1. David Tepper – With his immense wealth comes an equally immense ego, making him a less-than-ideal party host.
2 (tie). Dean Spanos and Mike Brown – These two owners would likely pinch pennies by hosting their parties at old bowling alleys and charging guests for drinks.
3. Jimmy Haslem – Haslem’s questionable decision-making skills make him a risk to party with, as you might end up in a precarious situation.
4. John Mara – Mara’s loyalty to his employees is admirable, but his no-nonsense attitude and penchant for bringing up work-related topics would make for a dull party.
5. [Unnamed Owner] – This individual’s need for control and strict adherence to rules would suck the fun out of any celebration.
