**F**k the Haters: I’m Unapologetically Obsessed with Timepieces, Creed, and Nickelback

In the heart of rural Mississippi, a small-town boy with a big dream was born. Music pulsed through his veins, thanks to his dad’s influence. He began crafting songs in high school, and that passion propelled him to Nashville, where he chased the spotlight. Initially, he made a name for himself as a songwriter, penning hits for country music giants like Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.

But his own sound is a unique fusion of hard rock roots, country twang, and even hints of hip-hop. His lyrics are unflinchingly honest, striking a chord with listeners. With a string of hit songs, including “One Beer”, “Give Heaven Some Hell”, and “Wait in the Truck”, he’s proven himself as a force to be reckoned with.

When he’s not creating music, he keeps a low profile, preferring to focus on his love of the outdoors and his family life. Recently, he launched his own beer brand, “Outlaw”, a fitting venture for an artist with a penchant for song titles featuring his favorite drink.

I had the chance to sit down with him at the Faster Horses Music Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, and our conversation flew by. With his eclectic sound and down-to-earth personality, it’s no wonder he’s built a devoted fan base. Be sure to check out his music on Spotify and follow him on Instagram to stay up-to-date on his latest projects.
